Bishkek mayor meets with vice governor of St. Petersburg

Bishkek, Oct. 26, 2021 / Kabar /. Mayor of Bishkek Aibek Dzhunushaliev paid an official visit to the city of St. Petersburg.

The Bishkek Mayor’s Office reported that during the visit to Smolny, Dzhunushaliev met with Vice Governor of St. Petersburg Valery Pikalev.

The sides discussed issues of bilateral cooperation and prospects for its development. Also, during the conversation, the issues of solid waste management, new greening technologies and the formation of a comfortable urban environment were touched upon, the report said.

In addition, during the visit, a meeting was held with representatives of the Committee for the improvement of St. Petersburg.

The Bishkek mayor got acquainted with the activities of the department of gardening and park economy. He was told about the new priority project "Formation of a comfortable urban environment", as well as measures to implement compensatory landscaping of common areas of urban importance.
