Bishkek, July 27, 2021 . / Kabar / . The Bishkek Mayor’s Office introduces a new policy in the economy, Acting Mayor of the Kyrgyz capital Baktybek Kudaibergenov said at a press conference.

He reminded that the city’s budget for 2021 was approved in the amount of KGS 10 billion 231 million.

"In turn, work in the sphere of economy will be carried out in two directions: increase of the budget revenues and optimization of the budget expenditures," he said.

In addition, the acting mayor explained that the first direction involves an inventory of business entities to identify their exact number in Bishkek.

The second direction is the introduction of a digitalization system, which will reduce costs.

"The introduction of the Accounting of production work program will provide data on the exact amount of labor costs aimed at ensuring the life of the city. For example, we will know how many janitors go out to clean, how many workers of Bishkekzelenkhoz work and where they are, how much garbage is taken out, how many vehicles and special equipment are on the line, the consumption of fuel and lubricants. This will allow us to determine the actual costs without any additions," Kudaibergenov summed up.
