Bishkek Mayor’s Office ready to deepen co-op with AmCham in Kyrgyzstan

Bishkek, Jan. 18, 2021. /Kabar/. Acting Mayor of Bishkek Balbak Tulobayev met on Monday with a delegation of the American Chamber of Commerce in the Kyrgyz Republic (AmCham), headed by Executive Director of the business association Aktilek Tungatarov.

According to the press service of the municipality, during the visit the sides discussed close cooperation with entrepreneurs, as well as the development of a favorable and competitive business environment in the capital.

"The acting mayor spoke about the importance of interaction between the business segment and city services, and expressed readiness to deepen cooperation and support efforts to improve the business environment in the capital," the report said.

In addition, the parties debated possible cooperation in improving social services, digitalization of municipal enterprises and addressing the issue of waste recycling, as well as discussed the activities of the land departments of the Mayor’s Office.

The American Chamber of Commerce in the Kyrgyz Republic (AmCham), founded in 2005, is the leading international business association that seeks to create a favorable and competitive business environment in Kyrgyzstan.
