Bishkek, Feb.26, 2020. /Kabar/. Police officers will ensure public order and public safety during the Ice Hockey World Championships in Division IV in Bishkek.
According to the press service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, in connection with the preparation and holding of the Ice Hockey World Championships in the capital, security measures will be strengthened.
Ensuring the protection of public order and safety of citizens and guests during the championship is one of the main priorities of the Interior Ministry.
In that connection, the Internal Ministry reminds citizens that, from Feb.26,2020, internal affairs officers will carry out measures to prevent the commission of crimes and offences by persons on the preventive registers of internal affairs agencies, as well as crimes in the area of family and domestic relations and offences in public places.
Such preventive measures are aimed primarily at reducing the number of crimes and offences in public places and entertainment facilities, and at stabilizing juvenile crime.
In addition, measures are being taken to ensure public order in places of public events, and important facilities will be placed under special protection.
