Bishkek, Aug. 22, 2018. /Kabar/. Azimuth Airlines based from Platov International Airport in Rostov-on-Don is launching the first international flight to Bishkek from Sep. 28, and from Oct. 1 – to Erevan, the press service of the air carrier reported.
From Oct. 1, 2018 the carrier is starting to render its services in regard with flights to the capital of Armenia from Rostov-on-Don and Stavropol three times a week – on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays. Flights [from Rostov-on-Don] to the capital of Kyrgyzstan are to start on Sep. 28.
Azimuth Airlines was established in 2017. The carrier operates domestic flights from Rostov-on-Don to Makhachkala, Sochi, Saint-Petersburg, Moscow, Samara, Novosibirsk, Kazan, and other cities. The company is one the main carriers of the new Platov International Airport in Rostov-on-Don and Krasnodar Pashkovsky Airport.
As Executive Director of the air company Eduard Teplitsky earlier told that the company is planning to carry about 730 thousand passengers in 2018. The fleet of Asimuth includes eight Sukhoi Superjet 100 aircrafts. The carrier is planning on increasing the fleet up to 16 by 2021-2022.
