Bishkek, Sept. 5, 2017 / Kabar /. The 4th World Epics Festival has started in Bishkek, within the framework of which the ethnographic village was opened for two days.
Representatives of 20 regions of Kyrgyzstan placed their yurts in front of the Philharmonic Society in Bishkek to participate in the contest The best Kyrgyz yurt.
“In the framework of the festival we, as a jury, reviewed all 20 yurts. I want to note that each of them is worthy of victory. We will sum up the results and announce the winner today,” the jury of the contest Abylabek Asankanov said.
In addition, a fair exhibition of national costumes, jewelry and decor items is organized in front of the Philharmonic Society.
This is the 4th World Epics Festival is devoted to the Year of Morality, Education and Culture and also to the 150th anniversary of the birth of Manas (epic) narrator Sagymbai Orozbakov.
