Bishkek, July 2, 2021 . / Kabar / . Deputy Chairwoman of the Cabinet of Ministers of Kyrgyzstan Zhyldyz Bakashova held on Friday a regular meeting of the Republican Headquarters for Combating COVID-19, the press service of the Cabinet of Ministers said.
The meeting considered issues of epidemiological situation, stock of medicines, medical products, personal protective equipment in health organizations, action plan of cities and regions in case of worsening of epidemic situation, plan of vaccination of population.
Head of the Republican HQ Zhyldyz Bakashova noted that in the near future the country will receive 1 million 250 thousand doses of Chinese vaccine Sinopharm, which will be distributed among regions of the country.
"The epidemiological situation in the republic is rapidly worsening. At this time, local authorities are not imposing any restrictions, but if necessary, restrictive measures can be taken. 1 million 250 thousand doses of Chinese vaccine will be delivered to Kyrgyzstan in the near future, so there is need to speed up the process of vaccinating the population.
It is necessary to ensure round-the-clock operation of vaccination points in Bishkek. In addition, the points will be opened at supermarkets and pharmacies. I want to emphasize that the combating coronavirus infection is a common work, so there is a need for coordinated coordination, cooperation and assistance of all government agencies and local authorities," she said.
Following the results of the HQ meeting, the Ministry of Health and Social Development of Kyrgyzstan was instructed: to continue online and offline training of medical workers, diagnosis and treatment of patients with coronavirus infection according to the 5th clinical guidelines; together with governors and the Mayor’s Offices of Bishkek and Osh cities to ensure smooth operation of 118 service with an increase of service staff as well as involvement of experienced medical workers from the general health network; to ensure uninterrupted work of mobile brigades, if necessary increase their number.
The Health Ministry was also instructed to send within three days a request to the Ministry of Economy and Finance for funds needed to purchase medicines, medical devices, personal protective equipment; distribute the vaccine arrived from China to regions and cities proportionally, depending on the epidemiological situation.
The Ministry of Defense was instructed to resolve the issue of organizing an observatory area for medical workers in the Semetei Hotel.
