Bishkek to host agricultural fairs

Bishkek, Dec. 19, 2020 / Kabar /. The Ministry of Agriculture, Food Industry and Land Reclamation of Kyrgyzstan is organizing agricultural fairs in Bishkek on Dec. 19-20, where the residents can buy products at affordable prices.

Traditionally, the country's farmers will offer residents vegetables, fruits, honey, meat and dairy products.

The fairs are organized in all the districts of the capital city, the Bishkek Mayor’s Office said.

During the work of the fairs, specialists from the local authorities, the Department of Internal Affairs will be on duty.

Each product presented at the fair will pass the control of the chief sanitary doctor of the center of state sanitary and epidemiological surveillance and the city veterinary laboratory. Road safety will be ensured by traffic police officers in Bishkek.

In addition, on the eve of the New Year, a Christmas tree market has been opened in Bishkek, where the residents can buy natural New Year's trees.
