Bishkek to host annual AgroTechExpo exhibition and Golden Autumn fair

Bishkek, Oct. 14, 2024. /Kabar/. Bishkek will host the republican agro-industrial exhibition AgroTechExpo-2024 and the Golden Autumn food fair on October 18 – 20, Nurlanbek Kozhogulov, Director of the Department of Cooperation, Mechanization of Innovative Technologies under the Ministry of Agriculture told reporters at a press conference at Kabar.

“The number of exhibition participants is growing every year. Last year, over 200 farmers and companies participated, and this year their number exceeded 300. Since the number of people wishing to exhibit their products is growing, this year we increased the exhibition area by 25%, the number of exhibitors, agricultural machinery, animals, seed samples, seedlings, plants, and so on has increased,” he said.

Kozhogulov said that the popularity of the fair is also growing every year.

“According to monitoring, over 15 thousand people visited the exhibition in 2023, including visitors from the regions, this year we expect an influx of over 20 thousand people,” the official noted.
