Bishkek, Oct. 2, 2024. /Kabar/. Bishkek will host on Oct. 3-4 Central Asian Women’s Dialogue Forum, the press service of the Kyrgyz Parliament reported.
The purpose of the event is to strengthen regional cooperation for the realization of the agenda “Women, Peace and Security” and strengthening peace and security in the Central Asian region.
The event will be attended by deputies of the Jogorku Kenesh, parliamentarians from Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Turkmenistan and Tajikistan, representatives of international organizations, diplomatic corps, civil sector and others.
The forum will present a high-level dialog platform to review the contribution and participation of women in strengthening peace and regional cooperation, plans to develop necessary measures to ensure women's participation in climate change adaptation processes as a basis for regional security and a common vision and recommendations on meaningful participation of women in strengthening peace, cooperation and sustainable development in the region.
