Bishkek to host Global Village Culture Festival 2017

Bishkek, August 4 / Kabar /. The Global Village 2017 culture festival will be held in Bishkek on August 6, the press service of the Bishkek Mayor's Office reported.

The festival is organized by the Bishkek Mayor’s Office in cooperation with the youth organization AIESEC. Trainees from different countries of the world, as well as representatives of other cultures living in Kyrgyzstan, will take part in the forthcoming event.

This festival will held in Bishkek for the fifth time and annually more than 8 thousand people visit it. The main goal of the event is to familiarize residents of the capital with the culture and traditions of different countries, which will help broaden the horizon, develop mutual relations and tolerance among peoples.

The festival will feature the cultures of such countries as Spain, Czech Republic, USA, Poland, Brazil, Thailand, Indonesia, Slovakia, Austria, China, Turkey, Belgium, Netherlands, Taiwan, Portugal, Malaysia, Romania and, of course, Kyrgyzstan.

Visitors of the event will also be able to enjoy performances of singers, dances, and also participate in contests where they can win valuable prizes.
