Bishkek, June 20, 2019. /Kabar/. The National Legal Forum will be held in Bishkek, where participants discuss the status of this profession in Kyrgyzstan.
The event, organized by the legal community of Kyrgyzstan together with the Kyrgyz State Law Academy, will take place on June 28 at 9:00 a.m. at the Orion Hotel. The theme of the event: “Modern image of a lawyer. Challenges of the legal system”.
“The image of a lawyer has not been formed in Kyrgyzstan. Despite the fact that the profession is relevant, it has lost its status due to the participation of lawyers in corruption, a large number of graduates with law degrees who do not find themselves in the profession, and many other examples,” the community noted.
The best lawyers of Kyrgyzstan, partners and managers of law firms and lawyer associations, heads of legal departments of leading companies and practitioners from the United Kingdom and the United States are among the participants.
The meeting will consist of 4 sessions: ethics and legal culture in professional legal activity, women in law, problems of modern legal education and trends in the legal services market.
