Bishkek to host meeting of Business Council of Kyrgyzstan and Uzbekistan

Bishkek, Jan. 18, 2023 / Kabar/. A meeting of the Business Council of Kyrgyzstan and Uzbekistan will be held in Bishkek on January 26.

The press service of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry (CCI) of the Kyrgyz Republic reported that in preparation for the meeting, President of the CCI Temir Sariev held a meeting with representatives of business associations.

During the meeting, Sariev said that the Chamber of Commerce and Industry, headed by the government, intends to help businessmen of the two countries to intensify relations.

In turn, representatives of business associations expressed their interest and noted that they have some issues that need to be resolved between the two states during the business council.

Following the meeting, it was decided that the leaders of business associations will provide a package of documents for discussion with Uzbek colleagues. The same list of documents is expected from the Uzbek side.

The Business Council was created between the Chambers of Commerce and Industry of Kyrgyzstan and Uzbekistan in 2021.
