Bishkek, Oct.10, 2019. /Kabar/. Open mountain bike competitions in KARAGACH-TRAIL cross country discipline will be held on Oct. 13 at 10:00 in Karagach (elm) Grove with the support of capital's municipality, the press service of the Bishkek Mayor’s Office reported.
Citizens and guests of the capital who have reached the age of majority can take part in the competition.
Races will be held in five categories:
The "Master Class" category - participants aged 16 to 50 years. The number of laps is 5.
The “Elite” category - participants aged from 16 to 50 years old, who used to win prizes at any format of cycling races. Number of laps - 7.
The "Veterans" category- participants aged 50 years and older. Number of laps is 4.
The “Electric bikes” category - participants on bikes of any construction, which are driven by an electric motor. Number of laps - 7.
The “Girls” category is possible with the participation of more than 3 participants, the number of laps - 5.
Note that the competitions are held as part of the Child Friendly Cities contest.
