Bishkek, May 30, 2022. / Kabar /. The second International Children's Folklore Festival "Nariste" will be held in Bishkek from May 30 to June 8, the capital city’s Mayor’s Office reported.
Representatives from Russia, Kazakhstan, Mongolia, as well as children's folk groups from 7 regions of Kyrgyzstan will take part in the large-scale event.
The main objective of the Nariste International Children's Folklore Festival is to preserve and develop the traditional folk culture of Kyrgyzstan, as well as to get acquainted with the folk art of other countries, the report said.
So, within the framework of the festival, various children's folklore dance and instrumental ensembles of both our republic and invited countries will perform colorful fireworks.
Master classes, open peace lessons will be shown, various creative meetings and evenings, scientific and practical conferences, exhibitions of folk applied arts, presentations of innovative projects in the field of culture and applied arts, excursions to historical and cultural sites of the city, acquaintance with Issyk -Kul Lake and its historical sites will be organized, the report said.
The opening of the festival will be held on May 31 and combine bright performances of teams from Kazakhstan, Mongolia, subjects of the Russian Federation - the Republic of Altai, the Republic of Tuva, the city of St. Petersburg, and of course, will widely represent the Kyrgyz Republic.
The first International Children's Folklore Festival "Nariste" was held in Bishkek in 2018, from April 25 to May 2, which was timed to coincide with the celebration of the 140th anniversary of the founding of the capital of the Kyrgyz Republic. It was attended by representatives of 6 countries: Hungary, India, Italy, Kazakhstan, Russia and Turkey, which are members of CIOFF and the winners of the International Delphic and Paradelphic Games.
The International Children's Folklore Festival "Nariste" is already becoming a hallmark of the Kyrgyz Republic, allowing us to significantly expand the geography of cooperation between our creative teams.
