Bishkek, Aug. 15, 2023 / Kabar /. Bishkek will host the 16th Forum of Creative and Scientific Intelligentsia of the CIS member states on September 12-13, the Ministry of Culture, Information, Sports and Youth Policy of the Kyrgyz Republic reported.
The main theme of the event is "Through the interaction of cultures - to the commonwealth and peace."
More than 200 delegates from the Commonwealth countries will take part in the Forum.
At plenary meetings and in specialized sections, scientists, educators and artists will discuss new formats of cooperation in education, youth initiatives in the field of volunteer movement, and the formation of intercultural dialogue.
The participants will devote one of the dialogues to the work of Chingiz Aitmatov, his influence on the spiritual and moral worldview of modern reality.
Also, for the first time on the sidelines of the Forum, a meeting of the Council of Heads of State News Agencies and a round table of heads of CIS theater unions will be held.
Within the framework of the Forum, there will be an awards ceremony for the CIS interstate awards "Stars of the Commonwealth" and "Commonwealth of Debuts", as well as a performance by the CIS Youth Symphony Orchestra.
The event is organized by the Interstate Fund for Humanitarian Cooperation of the CIS Member States and the Ministry of Culture, Information, Sports and Youth Policy of the Kyrgyz Republic.
