Tashkent, Nov. 3, 2018 / Kabar /. A presentation of a book entitled “Chyngyz Aitmatov - a singer of justice and truth” by a famous literary critic, doctor of philological sciences, professor Yuldosh Solizhonov was held at Fergana State University, Jahon News Agency reported.
Solizhonov said that Chyngyz Aitmatov is one of those who had a direct influence on the work of Uzbek writers, on Uzbek literature.
“The writer is very valuable to the Uzbek people and loved by fans of literature. Each reading of his works opens for us new facets of Aitmatov's talent. I hope that my book will become an important source of information about the life and work of the writer, his contribution to literature, and his rich artistic heritage,” the author said.
Currently, in accordance with the resolution of President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev “On the broad celebration of the 90th anniversary of the birth of the great writer and public figure Chyngyz Aitmatov” dated April 2 of this year, various cultural and educational events and creative evenings are held throughout the country.
