Bishkek, Jan. 31, 2018 / Kabar /. In Bishkek's Centralized Library System, a book exhibition was organized on the epic Manas on the theme: Manas-Eldin Baylygy, the press service of the Bishkek Mayor's Office reported.

Manas is the largest Kyrgyz epic and the name of the hero who united the Kyrgyz.
The epic Manas is included in the list of masterpieces of the intangible cultural heritage of humanity of UNESCO, as well as it is in the Guinness Book of Records, as the most voluminous epic in the world.
The epic consists of 3 parts, Manas, Semitey and Seytek. The main content of the epic is the bravery of Manas.
Since childhood, unusual qualities have appeared in Manas, he differed from all peers with his extraordinary physical strength, mischief and generosity. The glory of him is spread far beyond the Altay.
According to the epic, Manas with his army captures Beijing. The Chinese pay tribute to them and declare their desire to make peace. Manas generously decides to have mercy on Konurbay and other Chinese nobles. However, Konurbay could not reconcile himself with defeat and one by one kills the best Kyrgyz heroes.
Konurbay by secretly penetrates the battle rate of Manas and inflicts deadly wound on the hero, hitting Manas in the back with a spear, when an unarmed Manas was performing the morning prayer Namaz. Upon returning to his homeland, Manas can not recover from the wound and dies.
