Booster dose of COVID-19 vaccine given to over 167 thsd people in Kyrgyzstan

Bishkek, April 5, 2022 . / Kabar /. The Republican Headquarters for Combating COVID-19 provided the latest statistics on the vaccination rollout.

Thus, in the last 24-hours period:

-2,767 people were vaccinated with primary series of the vaccine, taking the total number of those received the first shot to 1,495,854.

- second primary dose was given to 510 Kyrgyzstanis. A total of 1,255,359 people have been vaccinated with both the first and second doses.

- 1,143 citizens received the booster dose. A total of 167,951 people in the republic have been vaccinated with a booster dose.

Kyrgyzstan started the vaccination campaign on March 29, 2021. The country is inoculating its citizens with Sinopharm, Sputnik-V, Sputnik-Light, Astra Zeneca, Pfizer and Moderna vaccines.
