Bishkek, Aug. 21, 2020 / Kabar /. Increased attention is paid to the development of the local health care system, Prime Minister of the Kyrgyz Republic Kubatbek Boronov said during a visit to a hospital in the village of Kara-Koo, Ton region, Issyk-Kul Oblast.
The government’s press service said that the prime minister got acquainted with the ongoing work on digitalization in a health care institution, where about eight thousand people are served.
Preferential conditions have been created for patients who go to the hospital to receive medicines according to the electronic record. At the moment, work is underway to develop an electronic queue, telemedicine and an electronic medical history, the report said.
The prime minister said that despite the COVID-19 pandemic and the budget deficit, it is planned to renovate several buildings of medical institutions in the regions that have been idle and not working for many years.
“At present, work is underway on the construction and reconstruction of 12 medical facilities in the republic. These hospitals will be equipped with modern equipment. The works are carried out according to the approved schedule. This issue is under the personal control of the President of the Kyrgyz Republic,” Boronov said.
The prime minister noted that special attention will be paid to the quality of the repair work of the medical institution.
