Boronov meets with residents in Batken

Bishkek, June 1, 2020 / Kabar /. First Vice Prime Minister Kubatbek Boronov met with residents of border villages in Kadamdzhai region of Batken oblast, the government’s press service said.

Local residents raised urgent issues against the background of the conflict with residents of the border village of Uzbekistan.

Kubatbek Boronov spoke about the talks held today with Prime Minister of Uzbekistan Abdulla Aripov and the reached agreements.

The first vice prime minister emphasized that the Government has special control over the solution of cross-border issues, the socio-economic development of border areas, as well as the strengthening of public security and order in these territories.

He also noted that relevant work will be carried out on the residents' appeals.
