Bishkek, April 24, 2024 / Kabar/. British Foreign Secretary David Cameron paid tribute to the history of the Kyrgyz people by visiting the Ata-Beyit memorial complex.
According to the British Embassy in the Kyrgyz Republic, he began his visit to Kyrgyzstan on April 22 by laying flowers at the Urkun memorial to honor the memory of the victims of this tragedy.
The director of the complex, Bolot Abdrakhmanov, told the minister about Urkun, as well as the history of Ata-Beyit.
Cameron is the first British Foreign Secretary to visit Kyrgyzstan in the entire history of the republic’s independence.
