Osh, Feb. 18, 2019. /Kabar/. Deputies of Jalal-Abad City Kenesh (Council) approved the budget for 2019 at the last session on February 14, the press service of the Mayor’s Office reported.
The session was attended by Mayor of the city Murataly Tagayev, Speaker of the city council Aibek Dzholdoshev, 25 deputies and heads of municipal and state institutions. During the session, some deputies suggested that the executive authority of the city save budget funds, reduce the staff of some municipal institutions.
In 2018, the budget of the city of Jalal-Abad, in which more than 100 thousand people live, amounted to 325 million soms. During the session, the deputies approved the city budget for 2019 and it will be 474 million 675 thousand 600 soms, which is greater almost by 150 million soms than in 2018.
The main part of the city budget is aimed at improving the infrastructure of the city and the social sphere.
