Business circles of Turkey’s Malatya province familiarize with investment climate of Kyrgyzstan

Bishkek, Jan.21, 2020. /Kabar/. Ambassador of Kyrgyzstan to Turkey Kubanychbek Omuraliyev paid working trip to Turkey’s Malatya city, the press service of the Kyrgyz Foreign Ministry reported.

As part of the trip, Omuraliyev met with President of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry (CCI) of Malatya Province Oguzkhan Ata Sadykoglu, and made a presentation to the members of the Chamber on the investment climate and opportunities in Kyrgyzstan.

The Kyrgyz ambassador provided information on the conditions for doing business (liberal taxes, costs of doing business, etc.), macroeconomic indicators and foreign trade turnover of the republic, on the membership of Kyrgyzstan in the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU).

He also invited businessmen of Malatya Province to take part in Kyrgyz-Turkish Business Forum to be held in summer 2020 and answered their questions.

Further, Ambassador Omuraliyev visited a number of companies in the First Organized Industrial Zone of Malatya city, which produces textiles, elevator equipment, etc.

The Kyrgyz ambassador also got acquainted with the activity of Teknokent (Technopark) at the University of Inenu.

At the meeting with members of MÜSİAD branch in Malatya Province and its head Muharrem Poyraz, Kubanuchbek Omuraliyev also made a presentation on investment climate and opportunities in the Kyrgyz Republic, and invited businessmen to Kyrgyz-Turkish Business Forum.

The sides agreed to assist the Embassy in the visit of a delegation of 20-25 MÜSİAD businessmen to Kyrgyzstan to establish cooperation with Kyrgyz businessmen.

Independent Industrialists and Businessmen Association (Turkish MÜSİAD), is a non-governmental organization .

According to 2015 records, MÜSİAD has 85 contact points in Turkey, 159 contact points in 63 different countries, and more than 11,000 members.
