Bishkek, Nov. 21, 2024. /Kabar/. Minister of Health of Kyrgyzstan Alymkadyr Beishenaliev held a working meeting with the delegation of the International Congress of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs (ICIE).
The meeting discussed prospects for the implementation of a large-scale international project to create a production and pharmaceutical cluster “Life Sciences Park” in Kyrgyzstan. The project involves the construction of high-tech facilities for the production of medical devices, drugs and vaccines.
Alymkadyr Beishenaliev emphasized that this project opens new prospects for the development of the medical and pharmaceutical industry, strengthens international cooperation and makes a significant contribution to improving the quality of medical services both in our country and abroad.
“The Kyrgyz Republic has always been open to innovation and investment, especially in such priority areas as healthcare. Today's talks are evidence of our common commitment to creating conditions conducive to the introduction of modern technologies and the development of production of medical devices and medicines,” the minister noted.
During the meeting, it was noted that the first stage of the project implementation includes construction of a medical warehouse and production of disposable medical products. The second stage provides for the production of hormonal drugs, vaccines and antitumor products oriented for export to Kyrgyzstan, CIS countries, Central Asia and other regions.
