Bishkek, Sept. 18, 2018. /Kabar/. The Civil Aviation Agency (CAA) opened its office at Manas airport for maintenance of aircrafts in case of problems, Director of the CAA Kurmanbek Akyshev told at the public hearing on the removal of Kyrgyz air companies from the “black list” of the European Union.
He said that there are inspectors of the Civil Aviation in the office.
“We are planning on opening a similar office in Osh soon”, he said.
Akyshev told that the engines of the JET company’s aircrafts are currently under investigation. This company had problems several times during take-off or landing.
“The investigation into the aircraft engines has been sent to the plant, where the airliner was built. We have not received the final statement from the plant. Measures will be undertaken based on the reply. We intensify oversight of the reglaments. An inspection of the engineering team and performance assessment is also being carried out”, he added.
