"Green spaces were destroyed, the irrigation system was ruined, and the city was disfigured with chaotic and disorderly construction. But there are big changes ahead for our capital. Bishkek accounts for 70% of the country's economy. It is a center of culture, science and education. I ask everyone sitting here to realize these things. It is Bishkek that should become the locomotive of everything progressive. I think that it is you, the capital's officials, who can really change the consciousness of citizens, not only of Bishkek, but of the entire republic. Start changing the country for the better with your example, your work, and your ideas," Akylbek Zhaparov emphasized.

He also touched on the issues of active participation of civil society in the life of the capital.

"I cannot fail to mention residents of our capital. Or rather, its most active representatives - people with a high coefficient of social responsibility. I think their role in the life and development of our city is invaluable,” the head of the Cabinet of Ministers noted.
