Bishkek, Dec. 14, 2021 . / Kabar / . Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers of Kyrgyzstan Akylbek Zhaparov held a meeting with Minister of Cabinet Affairs and Future of the United Arab Emirates Mohammad Bin Abdullah Al Gergawi.
The head of the Cabinet congratulated his interlocutor on the 50th anniversary of the UAE.
The sides discussed current cooperation issues between the two states and noted the great potential in various areas.
Akylbek Zhaparov spoke about the possibilities of cooperation in the field of tourism. Thus, about 4 thousand UAE citizens visited Kyrgyzstan over the past 9 months. In addition, the implementation of a number of socio-economic projects continues.
"As you know, a working group has been created between governments of the two countries to develop bilateral relations in the field of economy and investment. The Cabinet of Ministers will provide full assistance in resolving issues arising within the working group. Today we are signing a memorandum, which is the first result of our joint work. We are also interested in applying the UAE experience in the issue of government gas pedal programs, which will improve the quality of public services," he said.
In turn, Minister of Cabinet Affairs and Future of the United Arab Emirates Mohammad Bin Abdullah Al Gergawi noted the importance of continued progressive development of cooperation between the two countries.
The meeting was followed by a signing ceremony of the Memorandum of Understanding on Institutional Development and Capacity Building between the Cabinet of Ministers of Kyrgyzstan and the UAE government, and the adoption of the work plan of the expert group on cooperation between the two states.
