Bishkek, Oct. 19, 2023. / Kabar / . Kyrgyzstan's women's junior national team defeated Uzbekistan at the CAFA U-14 Central Asian Under-14 Football Tournament.
The meeting was held today at the central stadium in Dushanbe. Uzbekistan's Sumaya Makhamatsalieva opened the scoring in the 11th minute. The entire first half of the game, the Kyrgyz women had the advantage. The rivals equalized at the start of the second half, storming the gates of Gulbara Umatalieva's wards in the 45th minute. They scored their second goal on a corner kick in the 52nd minute.
But four minutes later, Kyrgyzstan's Aruuke Konokbaeva scored the return goal from a penalty kick.
The intrigue in the game was decided by an autologue goal of the opponents in the 61st minute. The final score was 3:2 in favor of the Kyrgyz national team.
A meeting between the national teams of Tajikistan and Iran is expected ahead. The results of the tournament will be summarized based on the results of this game. At the moment Kyrgyzstan occupies the second line of the standings.
