Call on EAEU to develop biological and health security strategy

Bishkek, April 30, 2021 . / Kabar / . The EAEU needs a common strategy of biological and health security, Belarusian Prime Minister Roman Golovchenko said at a meeting of the Eurasian Intergovernmental Council, BelTA has learned.

“The EEC Board is actively working on strategic documents. Perhaps we should consider developing a strategy for biological and health security of the EAEU countries. I know that some members, in particular Belarus and the Russian Federation, are working on these topics and are reconsidering approaches with regard to dangerous and particularly dangerous infections. Therefore, I propose to think about the feasibility of developing a common strategy for health and biological security,” Roman Golovchenko noted.
