Bishkek, Jan. 6, 2022. / Kabar /. Citizens of Kyrgyzstan wishing to return to their homeland can freely cross the Kazakh-Kyrgyz state border, the press service of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic said.
The Kyrgyz-Kazakh checkpoints are operating normally. In connection with the aggravation of the situation in Kazakhstan, a decision was made to cancel the requirement for mandatory presentation of PCR tests for all citizens of the Kyrgyz Republic and foreigners crossing the Kyrgyz-Kazakh border, the report said.
Currently, as part of the provision of consular and legal assistance to citizens, the Ministry is engaged in the evacuation of citizens of Kyrgyzstan through the checkpoints of the state border.
The ministry recalled that the Department of Consular Service of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic, the Embassy of the Kyrgyz Republic in Kazakhstan, the Consulate General of the Kyrgyz Republic in Almaty has a hot line through which citizens of Kyrgyzstan staying in Kazakhstan can contact on all issues of a consular and legal nature.
