Bishkek, Oct. 10, 2020. /Kabar/. The structure and composition of the Government will not be changed, nominated for the post of Prime Minister Sadyr Zhaparov said representing the structure and composition of the Government.
An extraordinary meeting of the Kyrgyz Parliament is taking place at the Ala-Archa state residence in the capital city of Bishkek.
"Due to the current situation, there will be no changes. The structure and composition of the Government will not change. It’s temporary, we will certainly change it in the future," Zhaparov said.
He added that the government program was already approved by the coalition on Oct. 6.
The Kyrgyz Parliament's meeting is considering several issues, including consideration of the proposal of Kyrgyz President Sooronbay Jeenbekov to impose a state of emergency in Bishkek due to the unrest that has not stopped for the fifth day.
In addition, the deputies are expected to consider the government program, its composition and structure.
President Jeenbekov signed on Friday a Decree according to which a state of emergency will be introduced in the capital city of Bishkek.
According to the Kyrgyz law, the president’s decree on the introduction of state of emergency in certain localities is subject to transfer to the Parliament and approved by the MPs.
