Bishkek, June 8, 2020. /Kabar/. Car accident Monday morning (4:20 a.m.) near the village of Kok-Moinok of Ton region (Issyk-Kul Oblast) has claimed two lives, the press service of the Issyk-Kul Oblast Internal Affairs Department said.
19-year-old resident of Cholpon-Ata driving a Honda-Stepwagon from west to east on the 163rd kilometer of the Bishkek-Balykchy-Torugart highway, having failed to cope with the control, collided with a concrete fence.
"As a result of the accident, two passengers of the car, two women of 48 and 39 years old died at the scene of the accident from their injuries," the report says.
The driver and other two passengers (34 and 18 years old) were hospitalized at the Balykchi Hospital.
The medical examination showed that the driver of the car was in a sober state at the time of the accident. Appropriate examinations were appointed.
