Bishkek, July 5, 2021. / Kabar / . Modern mobile medical complexes (trains), transferred to Kyrgyzstan within the Caravan of Health project financed by the Eurasian Fund for Stabilization and Development (EFSD) on a grant basis and managed by the Eurasian Development Bank (EDB), arrived in Leilek region of Batken Oblast, the press service of Kyrgyzstan's Health Ministry said Monday.
Health Minister Alymkadyr Beishenaliev inspected the readiness of mobile clinics for preventive medical examination of residents of Leilek region.
The goal of the Caravan of Health project is to improve disease prevention and detection in rural and hard-to-reach areas by organizing targeted preventive examinations to detect various diseases, including at an early stage.
Residents of Batken Oblast will be able to receive gynecological, dental, surgical and therapeutic care, as well as undergo ultrasound and X-ray diagnostics.
In his speech, Minister Alymkadyr Beishenaliev noted that currently intensive preparations are being made for the departure of mobile clinics that arrived in Kyrgyzstan under an agreement between the Government of the republic and the Islamic Development Bank.
