Bishkek, Oct. 29, 2021 / Kabar /. The Central Election Commission of Kyrgyzstan registered the list of candidates - 21 parties for the elections of deputies of the Jogorku Kenesh, which will be held on Nov. 28.
According to the Constitution of the Kyrgyz Republic, adopted in a referendum on April 11, 2021, the new composition of the Jogorku Kenesh will consist of 90 deputies and are elected for a term of 5 years under a mixed electoral system. Thus, 54 deputies of the Jogorku Kenesh are elected according to a proportional system (according to open lists of candidates of political parties) in a single electoral district, 36 deputies are elected according to the majoritarian system in single-mandate electoral districts.

The campaign period began on Oct. 29, 2021.
Initially, 75 political parties expressed intention to participate in the elections.
