Center for Analysis of International Relations formed in Kyrgyzstan

Bishkek, Sept. 4, 2020 / Kabar /. A meeting was held at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic on the occasion of the establishment of the Center for Analysis of International Relations under the Diplomatic Academy of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the press service of the ministry reported.

The event was attended by the leadership of the ministry, as well as the rector and vice-rector of the Diplomatic Academy.

Minister Chingiz Aidarbekov noted that this Center was created in pursuance of the task set by President Sooronbay Jeenbekov during a meeting with the heads of foreign missions of the Kyrgyz Republic in 2019 in terms of strengthening the analytical activities of the Diplomatic Academy and diplomatic service bodies in the field of foreign policy and international relations.

Ex-Minister of Foreign Affairs Muratbek Imanaliev has been appointed head of the newly created Center, who voiced specific proposals on the nature and promising areas of work of the new structure.

The Center for Analysis of International Relations of the Diplomatic Academy of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic was formed to carry out a comprehensive analysis of modern foreign policy processes and develop long-term forecast proposals.
