Cholpon-Ata, July 21, 2022. /Kabar/. The Fourth Consultative Meeting of Heads of Central Asia in Cholpon-Ata adopted final documents, the press service of the Presidential Administration reported.
In particular, leaders of the Central Asian countries adopted a joint statement.
In addition, Presidents of Kyrgyzstan Sadyr Zhaparov, Kazakhstan Kassym-Jomart Tokayev and Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev signed an agreement on friendship and cooperation for the development of Central Asia in the XXI century.
Presidents of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon and Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedow will sign this document after the completion of domestic procedures in their countries.
The presidents also decided to approve the Concept of interaction among Central Asian states within multilateral formats, the Regional Program Green Agenda for Central Asia and the Roadmap for the development of regional cooperation for 2022-2024.
Besides, Central Asian leaders signed the decision of Heads of the founder states of the International Fund for Saving the Aral Sea to extend the powers of Emomali Rahmon as President of the International Fund for Saving the Aral Sea.
