Central Asian Oncology Congress CARO-2020 has kicked off.
The Congress has been opened by its Chairman, Professor, Doctor of Medical Sciences, Foreign member of the Russian Academy of Sciences (Medical University Graz, Austria) Rainer Rienmueller.
CARO-2020 is held on November 26-28, 2020 online as a platform for communication between medical workers of Central Asia and foreign specialists representing the latest achievements in clinical practice, scientific research and medical technologies.
CARO-2020’s motto is Fundamental and clinical research, patient focus and digitalization – the four bases of progress in oncology”.
The Congress is the successor to the Central Asian Radiation Oncology Congresses, held in 2018 and 2019 in Tashkent and Tashkent region, and dedicated to the transfer of best practices in radiation oncology to the region.
Leading experts from Uzbekistan, Tajikistan, Kazakhstan, Azerbaijan, Russia, Germany, Austria, China, Mongolia, Switzerland, Poland and other countries are presenting reports on the latest achievements in pediatric oncology, oncourology and breast cancer, artificial intelligence and nuclear medicine in diagnostics, digitalization of the oncological clinical process.
CARO-2020 is organized by the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Uzbekistan jointly with OPASCA German Oncology Solutions GmbH, Uzbekistan’s OPASCA GOS Central Asia and Progressive Medical Service.
