Handover ceremony of WNG symbol from Kyrgyzstan to Turkey takes place in Issyk-Kul

Baktuu-Dolonotu, Sept. 08, 2018. /Kabar/. The solemn handover ceremony of the totem of the Third World Nomad Games – a vessel filled with glacier water - from Kyrgyzstan to Turkey has taken place in Issyk-Kul.

Kyrgyz Prime Minister Mukhammedkalyi Abylgaziev solemnly handed over the vessel kookor and the flag of the Games to Deputy Minister of Culture and Sports of Turkey Hamza Yerlikaya.

The totem contains water from the Khan-Tengri Peak and reflects a relevant problem of our time – the problem of freash water deficit. This ritual is an alternative to the Olympic torch.
