Bishkek, June 9, 2021. / Kabar /. Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers of Kyrgyzstan Ulukbek Maripov met with the newly appointed heads of diplomatic missions of the Kyrgyz Republic in a number of countries of the world, the press service of the Cabinet of Ministers reported.
“To represent the interests of the state abroad is a very responsible and lofty mission. The development and strengthening of bilateral cooperation largely depends on you and your professionalism. I am sure that you will cope with the task with honor, since each of you has extensive practical experience in the field of government and diplomatic service,” the chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers said.
During the meeting with the ambassadors, Maripov noted that in their work it is necessary to build constructive interaction with representatives of political and business circles, with an emphasis on expanding political, trade, economic, cultural and humanitarian cooperation.
“The Kyrgyz Republic is open to cooperation and is ready to support investors seeking to invest in the Kyrgyz economy. Projects in the field of energy, transport, mining, light, food and processing industries, agriculture, tourism are of priority importance for us. Particular attention should be paid to protecting the rights and interests of our compatriots abroad. You and the staff of the embassies should closely interact with members of the Kyrgyz diasporas, provide all possible assistance in solving problems arising in our fellow citizens. This is an important part of your work,” he stressed.
The meeting was attended by:
- Almazbek Beishenaliev, Permanent Representative of the Kyrgyz Republic to the UN and other international organizations in the city of Geneva, Swiss Confederation;
- Taalay Bazarbayev, Ambassador of the Kyrgyz Republic to the Italian Republic;
- Azamat Karagulov, Ambassador of the Kyrgyz Republic to the State of Kuwait;
- Talant Sultanov, Ambassador of the Kyrgyz Republic to Turkmenistan.
