Bishkek, Oct. 22, 2021 . / Kabar / . Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers of Kyrgyzstan, Head of the Presidential Administration Akylbek Zhaparov spoke about the measures taken to curb prices for fuels and lubricants.
At the opening ceremony of the AgroTechExpo-2021 exhibition and the Golden Autumn agricultural fair in Bishkek, the chairman of the Cabinet noted this trend is currently observed not only in Kyrgyzstan, but the issue is planned to be resolved soon.
“Thus, the Cabinet of Ministers is considering the following measures to curb prices: temporary reduction of the excise tax rate, exempt imports and supplies of diesel fuel from VAT or allow payment in installments," he said.
Zhaparov also pointed out that the situation is exacerbated by the fact that two Russian oil refineries have been shut down for scheduled repairs.
