Secretary of Security Council considers that methods and forms of terrorist attacks are expanding

Bishkek, Sept. 13, 2018. /Kabar/. There is an expansion of the range of methods and forms of terrorist and extremist attacks, Secretary of the Security Council of Kyrgyzstan Damir Sagynbaev told at an international symposium entitled “Countering Extremism Online”.

He said that over the past years it had been possible to prevent a number of sabotage and terrorist attacks in Kyrgyzstan.

Sagynbaev noted that some terrorist groups are seeking financing on a continuous basis, others – use modern technologies for their purposes.

“We realize that it is not possible to resolve the issue of terrorism and extremism by force. These organizations are constantly developing on the basis of political and economic situations in countries. One of the main tools for them is modern technologies, through which they are recruiting new people”, the Secretary of the Security Council said.
