Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Kyrgyzstan invites Turkish entrepreneurs to create large joint ventures

Bishkek, March 3, 2022. /Kabar/. The head of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Kyrgyzstan Marat Sharshekeyev, suggested Turkish colleagues to create large joint ventures, the press service of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry reported.

A delegation of Turkish entrepreneurs headed by the Consul of the Kyrgyz Republic in Bursa Bilal Tutush arrived at the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Kyrgyz Republic on Wednesday.

Bursa is a leading Turkish city in the field of textile industry, construction, ready-made clothing (up to 200,000 jeans products per year under Zara, H&M brands), electronic goods, and the automotive industry.

Marat Sharshekeyev singled out the textile industry as one of the promising ones and suggested creating large joint associations and enterprises in Kyrgyzstan.

In addition, he noted a number of preferences that Kyrgyzstan has as a member of the EAEU and the WTO, which would expand the sales market for the products of joint ventures.

“So, today the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Kyrgyz Republic is preparing to discuss various projects, opportunities at the next events, which are planned in Tashkent, Tyumen, Kazan. A visit to the Far East is planned,” the press service said.

In addition, with Turkey, it is possible to consider the possibility of creating a free economic zone and building residential premises, Marat Sharshekeyev noted.

At the end of the meeting, the sides agreed to exchange the necessary information for further steps in the development of bilateral cooperation, as well as the opportunity to conclude an appropriate memorandum between the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Kyrgyz Republic and the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Turkish city of Bursa.
