Bishkek, March 15, 2023. /Kabar/. Regional offices of the Chambers of Commerce and Industry of Kyrgyzstan and Uzbekistan agreed to develop a joint economic development strategy, the press service of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Kyrgyz Republic reported.
Representatives of the Jalal-Abad and Batken regions Madanbek Karaev and Erkin Bekiev paid a working visit to the Ferghana, Andijan and Namangan regions of Uzbekistan, where they met with representatives of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Republic of Uzbekistan in these regions.
The parties agreed that they would hold talks with businessmen of the two countries and visit enterprises of Uzbekistan with them to get acquainted and study the production stages. They also discussed plans to hold joint exhibitions, fairs and business tours.
As a result of the meeting, memorandums of understanding were signed between the Chambers of Commerce and Industry of the two countries.
