Bishkek, Apr. 25, 2020. /Kabar/. The Good Neighbors International Charity Organization in the Kyrgyz Republic continues to assist the population.
Jointly with the KOICA Kyrgyzstan Office and the Republican Headquarters for Preventing Import and Further Spread of Coronavirus, they provided food to 1000 vulnerable families in Bishkek and Chui Oblast on Apr. 24 due to the current situation of COVID-19 spread.
In addition, it is planned to expand the area of activities to provide food and hygiene products to vulnerable groups during the crisis, as well as to provide public health centers with medical supplies such as protective suits, masks, and gloves.
Good Neighbors Kyrgyz Republic was registered as an international NGO in 2014.
Since then the organization has operated many different kinds of projects to protect children’s rights, to strengthen capacity building and economic growth of community people and to encourage Kyrgyz people to give more to charity.
