Checkpoint at Kyrgyz-Chinese border to be temporary closed

Bishkek, June 23, 2020. /Kabar/. At the initiative of the Chinese side, in connection with the celebration of the "Dragon Boat Festival" in China, the Irkeshtam - Avtodorozhnyi checkpoint on the Kyrgyz-Chinese section of the state border will be temporarily closed.

According to the press service of the Kyrgyz State Border Service, the checkpoint will be closed on June 25-28.

Cargo transportation through the checkpoint will resume on June 29, 2020.

The Irkeshtam-Avtodorozhnyi checkpoint resumed its operation on Apr. 15, 2020 in accordance with a special algorithm that provides only for the movement of goods from China to Kyrgyzstan.
