Checkpoint at Kyrgyzstan-China border to be temporarily closed

Bishkek, Apr. 28, 2020. /Kabar/. An the initiative of the Chinese side, due to celebration of Labor Day in China, the Irkeshtam-Avtodorozhnyi checkpoint on the Kyrgyz-Chinese section of the state border will be temporarily closed for the movement of goods from Apr. 30 to May 5 inclusive, the press service of Kyrgyzstan’s State Border Service reported.

The movement of goods on the Kyrgyz-Chinese section of the state border will resume on May 6.

The Irkeshtam-Avtodorozhnyi checkpoint resumed operation on Apr. 15, 2020 in accordance with a special algorithm that provides only for the movement of goods from China to Kyrgyzstan.
