Bishkek, Feb.2, 2020./Kabar/. The Kyrgyz Republic temporarily closes its state border with China and suspends air traffic.
This decision was taken on Saturday by the Republican Headquarters for Preventing Import and Further Spread of Coronavirus in the Kyrgyz Republic, the Government's press service said.
According to the Health Ministry's data, no confirmed cases of coronavirus have been recorded in the country to date.
Sanitary sections are operating at all the country's checkpoints and at airports in Bishkek and Osh.
All persons crossing the border of the Kyrgyz Republic undergo appropriate checks.
If there are characteristic signs and symptoms of influenza and acute respiratory infections, they are placed in special wards (isolators) where they are monitored by the health authorities.
In addition, health care organizations have prepared special wards in the event that contagion is detected in the territory of the republic.
Earlier, the Government developed a plan of priority actions to organize sanitary and epidemiological measures to prevent infiltration and spread of coronavirus into the territory of the country.
