Bishkek, Oct. 30, 2023 / Kabar /. The Chengdu International Railway Port is located in Qingbaijiang District of Chengdu, the center of Sichuan Province in the intersection of the Silk Road Economic Belt and the Yangtse River Economic Belt.
Also, Chengdu International Railway Port is the only international railway freight hub of Sichuan and the industrial park and the symbol of fulfillment of the Belt and Road initiative.
The Chengdu International Railway Port serves as the starting point of China-Europe Railway Express.
The China-Europe freight train service was launched in the same year when China put forward the Belt and Road Initiative (BRI).
Since 2013, when the China-Europe freight train service was launched it has flourished, becoming the modern day "steel camel caravans" that transport goods between China and Europe.

In the past decade, the China-Europe Railway Express has developed into a world-renowned transport product and a landmark achievement of the Belt and Road Initiative.
The China-Europe freight train has gradually become the main bridge and green channel connecting the Eurasian continent with its high efficiency and stability and due to its advantages including a larger number of trips, frequency, wide radiation area and short transport time.
Since launching the BRI, the number of operations at the port continues to increase, transportation products become more diversified.
The data on China-Europe freight trains can show the vigorous development of the Belt and Road in the past ten years.

According to data, in 2022, the China Railway Express (Chengdu-Chongqing) operated over 2,600 trips, and the China Railway Express (Chengdu) operated over 4,700 trips. Focusing on three leading industries, namely international supply chain, international trade, and intelligent manufacturing, the port has introduced nearly 200 major projects worth over RMB 100 billion. Over 80% of China's top 50 domestic supply chain management enterprises have gathered here to bolster the construction of the port into a core area for the international supply chain economy under the Belt and Road Initiative.
The company continues to promote the construction of industrial circles and strong chains in the three leading industries of international supply chain, international trade, and port-based intelligent manufacturing, and actively attract, cultivate, and gather a group of industry core advantages such as market share, production scale, and platform resources.
The international railway port is convincing evidence of the stable and efficient operation the One Belt One Road project.
One more landmark of the BRI in Sichuan is the the Chengdu-Eurasia National (Commodity) Pavilion, which islocated within the Chengdu International Railway Port.

The Chengdu-Eurasia National Pavilion serves as an open platform for product exhibitions and cultural exchanges with countries involved in the BRI.
So far, the pavilion has attracted 34 venues featuring commodities from countries and regions including Europe, Central Asia, Southeast Asia and other regions. Covering an area of 107 mu, the pavilions have a total building area of approximately 34,000 square meters.

The pavilions provide exhibitions, performance and sell imported products from countries along the Belt and Road, enabling visitors to easily "explore the world" in Chengdu.
There is the pavilion of Central Asian countries, where Kyrgyzstan, Uzbekistan and Tajikistan also featured their products.

According to data, the annual import transaction value generated by the pavilions exceeds 1 billion yuan (about USD137.18 million).
The Chengdu-Eurasia National (Commodity) Pavilion is one of major attempts to promote cross-border trades leveraging its advantages in logistics.
