Chief of General Staff of Armed Forces and Ambassador of Korea discuss state of military relations

Bishkek, Oct. 25, 2018. / Kabar /. Chief of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Kyrgyzstan Rayimberdi Duishenbiev met with Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of the Republic of Korea to the Kyrgyz Republic Ha Tae-youk.

“I am glad of the opportunity to meet with you and exchange views on the development of bilateral military cooperation,” said Duyshenbiev, welcoming the guest, the press service of the General Staff of the Kyrgyz Republic reported.

During the meeting, the sides discussed the state of the Kyrgyz-Korean military relations and stressed their readiness to build up cooperation in the military field, which until now has mainly been implemented as part of training personnel in the military schools of the Korean side.

At the end of the meeting, the sides reaffirmed their readiness to intensify bilateral military contacts.
